Hills Health Solutions has been awarded a contract to install a patient Entertainment and engagement system at Kaweka Health’s planned surgery facility in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. The Victoria-based health technology company was chosen through a bidding process to build the Get Well patient engagement platform, which it exclusively sells across Australia and New Zealand. The Get Well software as a service solution delivers timely information and educational content to patients while also collecting feedback to increase patient satisfaction.
According to Hills Health, the technology has been implemented in over 950 locations throughout the world. Lyle Chetty, director of digital services at Kaweka Health, stated in a press release that providing high-quality Entertainment and engaging patients in their healthcare journey is a “top priority” for them. “As part of our patient-centric approach, we provide an environment where patients feel comfortable and informed about their treatment plan,” he added. Get Well’s “huge” library of educational resources, according to Chetty, can cater to Hawke’s Bay variety.
The Orion Health Enterprise Patient Administration System and Clinical Portal products are part of the platform. The IT Company started working on the project in August and is on track to provide the cloud-based system in time for the surgery center’s launch next year.
